Seat Mii Turn Signal Troubles

My 2012 Seat Mii with a gasoline engine is having issues with the right turn signal. The error memory has a fault stored, there's a warning light on the speedometer, and the turn signal itself is intermittent. I've visually checked the signal lamp and see no broken lens, but I suspect a bad cable or plug connection. Has anyone else dealt with this before? I'm trying to avoid replacing the lamp if it's just a bad wire.

I had a similar turn signal problem with my Mii. Check the bulb holder and wiring. Sometimes it's just a loose connection.

When you had the problem, did it also throw an error code and light up the dash? And was it always the same side that failed?

Yes, exactly the same symptoms. The error code and the dash light were annoying. It was intermittent at first, then became permanent. I'd suggest getting the wiring checked if you're not comfortable doing it yourself. Could save you some trouble.

Just to let you know, the turn signal issue is resolved. A local shop found a corroded connector on the signal lamp. Cost 95€, including lamp replacement, but it's fixed now. Thanks for the assistance.
