Seat Tarraco Automatic Tailgate Problem
Summary of the thread
The 2023 Seat Tarraco hybrid's automatic tailgate is experiencing issues, specifically a hall sensor fault that causes the tailgate motor to open only partially. The error memory suggests a faulty cable or plug as potential causes. A similar issue was resolved by checking and fixing the sensor connections, which avoided the need for replacing the entire tailgate system. The problem was ultimately resolved by addressing a faulty connection on the hall sensor.

Cheers for the quick reply! Was your issue exactly the same? Did the error memory also point to the hall sensor?

Yep, the error code was the same. Hall sensor. Honestly, just get the connections checked at a workshop. Could be a quick fix. Saved me from replacing the entire power tailgate system.

Thanks a million for the confirmation! Just got it sorted at the garage. Turns out, as you suspected, it was a dodgy connection on the hall sensor. 95€ and she's back in action! Appreciate the heads-up!

Had something similar happen with my Tarraco. The automatic tailgate acted up. Check the vehicle sensor connections before you go replacing the tailgate motor. Could save you a lot of hassle.
