Thanks for the suggestions! I have not checked the fuel filter yet, but I will put it on my list. When you mention fuel injector cleaner, do you have any specific recommendations? Also, the issue seems to be more prevalent when the engine is warm, especially after driving for a while.

Okay, interesting that it happens when the engine is warm. Fuel injector cleaner is a hit or miss, some people swear by it, others say it's snake oil. As for brands, I don't want to recommend anything specific. Honestly, with those symptoms and the mileage, it might be best to get it checked by a workshop. Could save you some headaches down the line. A proper diagnostic will pinpoint the fuel pressure sensor and rule out other fuel system gremlins.

Appreciate the input. It turned out to be a defective cable connection to the fuel pressure sensor. The workshop replaced the faulty wiring and the plug. Total cost was 95€ including diagnostic. Now the Seat is running smoothly again. Hopefully this will also improve my fuel economy.

Whoa, sounds rough! Check engine light plus stalling is never fun. It could be a few things messing with your fuel delivery. Have you tried checking the basics, like the fuel filter? Also, maybe try a fuel injector cleaner? It might help if one of them is a bit clogged. Does it happen only when the engine is cold, or all the time? Keep us posted!
