Seat Tarraco Door Lock Issue

I've got a 2020 Seat Tarraco with a gasoline engine and about 62791 km on the clock. Recently, I've been having trouble with the doors, they just won't lock or unlock sometimes. Could this be a faulty door contact signal? Is it likely a defective cable or plug connection?

Sounds familiar. I had a similar problem with my Seat Ateca. Was it also affecting the car alarm?

Now that you mention it, yes, the car alarm was acting up too. What was the fix for your Ateca?

Yep, sounds like the same electrical issue. The dealer found a problem with the wiring harness in the vehicle doors. I suggest you get it checked out at a workshop.

It was indeed a faulty contact signal due to a defective wiring harness. Cost me 95€ to get it sorted at the workshop. Thanks for the help!
