Seat Tarraco Electrical Problems

I'm experiencing some electrical problems with my 2019 Seat Tarraco with a Gasoline engine. I'm getting an undervoltage error, and the car is starting poorly. Various systems are failing, the lights are weak and flickering, and the battery seems weak when starting. Could this be a heavily discharged or defective battery?

Sounds like a classic battery health issue. Have you checked the battery voltage with a multimeter? Is the charging system functioning correctly? A voltage drop test might be useful.

I haven't checked the voltage myself. How would I perform a voltage drop test? Is that something a novice can do, or should I take it to a professional for diagnosis?

A defective battery is likely. A voltage drop test can be tricky without the right tools and knowledge. Given the symptoms, it's probably best to get it checked by a workshop. I had a similar issue, and it turned out to be a bad cell in the battery. The charging system was fine.

Took it to a workshop, and they confirmed a defective battery. Replacement fixed the undervoltage issue. Total repair cost was 290€.
