Seat Tarraco Hybrid Engine Problems

I haven't tried any fuel additives yet. I was hoping to avoid throwing more money at it without knowing for sure. The 'check engine' light is on, but I don't have a code reader. Is it possible to diagnose a dirty injection valve without one?

Well, without the codes, it's a bit like trying to find a needle in a haystack in the dark. It's possible it's a dirty injection valve, but those symptoms could point to a bunch of things. Given all you've described, though, and especially the check engine light, I'd strongly suggest taking it to a professional for a proper diagnosis. They can pinpoint the exact issue and save you money in the long run. It sounds like it might need a repair.

Just wanted to say thanks for your help. I took the vehicle to a repair shop, and they confirmed it was a defective injection nozzle, most likely due to it being dirty. The repair cost me 515€. Runs like new now!

A hybrid Seat Tarraco, eh? Interesting. Sounds like you've got a problem there. Have you tried using any fuel additives to clean the gasoline injection system? Sometimes that can help with dirty valves. Also, is the 'check engine' light on? What diagnostic codes are showing?
