Seat Tarraco Hybrid Engine Trouble

My 2022 Seat Tarraco hybrid is acting up. It has 195581 km on the clock. The display sometimes shows odd temperature readings, the check engine light is on, and the engine warms up slowly. I read it might be a defective fuse. Could it be the cooling grille and airflow or a radiator blockage?

A restricted cooling grille could cause those symptoms, especially the slow warm-up. I drive a Tarraco too and had similar issues, though with a petrol engine. Does the check engine light show any error codes? Have you checked the radiator grille for radiator blockage or obstructions? Is the fan working?

Thanks. I haven't checked the error codes, but I will. I didn't see any radiator blockage, but maybe I missed something. When you say 'similar issues', do you mean the same symptoms?

Yes, the symptoms were almost identical. The temperature readings were the most concerning. A more thorough check might be needed to rule out a partial radiator blockage. The fuse issue is interesting. If a fuse for the cooling system is blown, it could cause these problems, especially if it controls the cooling fan or the radiator grille. I'd suggest a workshop check.

It was a defective fuse linked to the automotive cooling system, like you thought. The radiator grille is okay, no radiator blockage. Cost 52€. Cheers for the tip!
