Thanks for your input! When you experienced the battery warning, did the engine shut off completely, or was it just reduced power? Also, did any error messages get stored, and if so, what did they say?

Yes, the engine cut out completely a couple of times, which was alarming. And yes, there was an error stored, something about a system malfunction in the high-voltage system, though I don't remember the exact wording. Given your hybrid engine, it sounds like a similar but potentially more complex problem. I'd recommend getting it checked by a qualified workshop. High-voltage systems aren't something to mess with yourself.

The workshop found a fault in the high-voltage battery management system. They recalibrated it, and the battery warning hasn't reappeared so far. The total cost was around 290€ as estimated. Thanks for the advice!

I had a similar issue with my Tarraco, but it's not the hybrid version. The battery warning light came on, and the car went into limp mode, with reduced engine power. I'm not a mechanic, but I'd check for any obvious signs of electrical fault, like loose connections or damaged electrical wiring. Has the car been sitting unused? That can cause battery drain.
