Seat Tarraco Hybrid Oxygen Sensor Issue

I'm experiencing an issue with my Seat Tarraco hybrid. The check engine light is on, and an error is stored pertaining to the oxygen sensor. I've also observed diminished fuel efficiency. Has anyone encountered similar symptoms?

I had a similar issue with my Tarraco. The check engine light was driving me nuts! I spent ages trying to figure it out. What diagnostic codes are you getting? Mine was related to the O2 sensor on Bank 1, Sensor 1. It was throwing lean mixture codes and messing with my fuel efficiency. Seriously frustrating!

Interesting. Did you also see a drop in fuel efficiency? I think it's a defective cable or plug connection because it appears intermittently. Which sensor was the culprit in your case?

Yes, massive drop in fuel efficiency! It was the pre-cat O2 sensor. Lambda sensor for exhaust system regulation, I believe. It sounds similar. If it's intermittent, the connection is even more probable. I would take it to a workshop. It's much easier than fiddling with multimeters and wiring diagrams.

The workshop confirmed a defective oxygen sensor. I'm replacing it entirely; the cable connector was corroded. Total cost is 95€. Thanks for the help.
