Seat Tarraco massage seat not working

My 2021 Seat Tarraco with a diesel engine has developed a fault with the massage setting in the driver's seat. The seat switch does nothing, no response at all. I scanned the car and it shows an error related to the seat, but I don't have the exact code on me right now. I'm suspecting some kind of electrical issue, maybe a bad connection? Anyone else had this happen on their car? I saw something about a cable or plug connection of the component defective possibly being the problem. Any ideas?

The error memory indicates a potential electrical issue. Have you checked the fuse associated with the automotive seats? Also, is the problem occurring only on the driver's seat or also on the passenger seat?

Good thought! I haven't checked the fuses yet, I'll do that first thing in the morning. Just the driver's seat, I don't have the massage setting on the passenger side.

Given that it's isolated to the driver's seat and an error is stored, the cable or plug connection of the component defective is likely the problem. While checking the fuse is a good first step, a workshop visit might be necessary to properly diagnose and repair the electrical issue.

Took it to the workshop. They found a defective connector, just like you suspected. 95€ later, and my massage setting is working again. Thanks for the help!
