Seat Toledo AC not cooling

My Seat Toledo, 2017 diesel, has a problem with the air conditioning. The AC is not cooling like it used to. I ran a scan and there is an error related to the rear ventilation flap. Sounds like the climate control unit is not working properly. The report said the cable or plug connection of the component might be defective. Any ideas?

I had a similar issue with my Toledo. Check the rear ventilation flap actuator. The connector might be the problem. Happened to me last summer, car HVAC wasn't cooling well.

Thanks! Where exactly is that located? And how did you figure out the connection was bad? Any system diagnostics I can do myself?

Yep, same symptoms. The rear vents weren't working, and the front ones weren't as cold. I didn't diagnose it myself; I took it to a workshop. They said it's a common issue. They can test the flap actuator and wiring.

Took it to the workshop, and you were spot on. They checked the wiring and the plug to the flap actuator, and there was a loose connection. They fixed it, cleared the error, and the AC is blowing cold again. Total cost 95€. Thanks for the help!
