Seat Toledo climate control malfunction

I am writing to seek assistance with a problem I am experiencing with my 2007 Seat Toledo, equipped with a diesel engine. The vehicle has accumulated 154139 km. The climate control panel is not functioning correctly. Specifically, an error is stored in the error memory, the heating output is insufficient, and the air conditioning system fails to activate. Based on preliminary investigations, the likely cause appears to be a defective cable or plug connection affecting the component. Has anyone encountered a similar issue? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Climate control issues can be a real pain! I had something similar happen with my old Renault Megane. The air conditioning would randomly cut out. Have you checked the wiring harness connections to the climate control panel? Sometimes a loose plug can cause all sorts of electronic faults.

Yep, sounds familiar. On the Megane, the connector was behind the center console. You could try gently wiggling the wires while the car is running to see if anything happens. But honestly, given the error codes and the low heating output, I reckon taking it to a workshop might save you a headache. Electronic faults can be tricky!
