I am experiencing a problem with my 2005 Seat Toledo diesel. The engine seems to have reduced power, and there is noticeable smoke when accelerating. The vehicle has 94636 km. I suspect the diesel particulate filter might be defective. Could this be the cause, and what steps should I consider? I have noticed the engine light illuminating recently.
