The light intensity doesn't change erratically, it's consistently misaligned. I haven't inspected the control module physically. Where is it typically located in a 2006 Toledo?

Given that the light intensity is consistently misaligned and an error code is present, a defective servomotor is highly probable. While you can inspect the control module, professional diagnosis is recommended. This issue may require specialized tools to solve.

Took the Toledo to the workshop. Diagnosis confirmed defective servomotor in the headlight. Repair including parts and labor came to 1040€. Expensive, but the headlight range control is now functioning correctly. Thanks for the input.

Does the light intensity change erratically when the engine is running? Have you checked the control module for any visible damage or loose connections? It could also be a faulty headlight switch.
