Sedici Ignition Problems
Summary of the thread
A 2012 Fiat Sedici diesel with 218,268 km is experiencing ignition problems, including failure to start, shutting off mid-drive, and rough running. The problem was identified as a faulty ignition fuse, which was replaced, resolving the issue.

Good shout on the fuse, I'll check that first thing. As for the key turn, no, doesn't seem to matter how hard or gently I turn the ignition key. Same erratic behavior either way. Any other thoughts if the fuse is fine?

Acknowledged. If the fuse is not defective and the key turn does not affect the symptoms, it would be prudent to have the ignition switch assembly and related wiring inspected by a qualified technician. It is possible there are internal issues within the switch itself or a short circuit present. Continuing to operate the vehicle in this condition could cause further damage. I recommend consulting a workshop.

Thanks for the input! Fuse was indeed the culprit. Replaced it and seems to be running fine. Cost me 52€ at the local parts shop. Appreciate the help!

I understand you're experiencing some rather disruptive issues with your Fiat Sedici. Given the symptoms you've described, could you verify if the ignition fuse is intact and functioning correctly? Also, does the behavior change depending on how forcefully you turn the ignition key?
