Sedici Overheating Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2012 Fiat Sedici is experiencing overheating and delayed warming, possibly due to issues with the thermostat cooling circuit motor or the map thermostat. The thermostat may be stuck, as similar symptoms were resolved by checking and diagnosing the thermostat and temperature sensor at a workshop. A professional diagnosis is recommended to confirm and address the issue.

I inspected the thermostat housing and didn't see any leakage or corrosion. What specific issues did you have with your Sedici, and how did you fix them?

Yeah, mine looked clean too. Turned out the thermostat was just stuck. Best bet is to get it checked out by a workshop. They can properly diagnose the thermostat and temperature sensor.

Understood. I'll take it to a workshop for diagnosis and repair. Thanks for confirming my thermostat suspicion, and the heads-up on the temperature sensor.

Sounds familiar. I've got a Sedici too. Had similar symptoms a while back. Have you checked the thermostat housing for any signs of leakage or corrosion?
