I haven't checked the voltage, and I've never done defroster repair. Can I check the voltage myself, or should I take it to a professional?

If you're not comfortable with electrical testing, a workshop is best. Given the error code and weak windshield heating, it's likely more than a fuse. A defective battery fits the symptoms. Expect around 290€ repair costs.

Thanks! Took it to a shop, and you were right – it was a bad battery. Sorted now, with a new heating coil!

Possibly. A weak battery can cause electrical issues. Have you checked the battery's voltage? Have you done defroster repair before? Could be a fuse, but modern systems are sensitive to low voltage.
