Sedici Windshield Washer Heater Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2014 Fiat Sedici owner is experiencing issues with the windshield washer heater, leading to frozen spray nozzles in cold weather. The suspected cause is a defective cable or plug connection, though other potential causes like the pump or clogged nozzles were considered and ruled out. A suggestion was made to check the fuses, as they are often a common cause of such issues. If unresolved, taking the car to a workshop is recommended for a quick fix.
Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Thanks for the quick reply! Good point about the pump. The fluid level is fine, and when it's warmer, the spray works, so the pump and nozzles seem ok. Was your issue also only happening when it was freezing?

Yep, exactly the same symptoms! Only happened when it was properly cold. To be honest, after checking the fuses (which I recommend you do as well, they are often a cause!), I gave up and took it to a workshop. They sorted it quickly.

Thanks, I appreciate the help. I'll check the fuses and then probably take it to a workshop as well. I got a quote for 95€, hopefully it won't be more!

Hey! I have a Sedici too! Sounds like a similar problem I had. Is your washer fluid actually reaching the windshield when it's not frozen? If not, it could also be the pump or even clogged nozzles. A simple way to exclude those would be to check fluid level and squirting the wipers in warmer temperatures. Just a thought!
