Seeking Advice for Troubleshooting 2013 Fiat Bravo's Blower Issues

Hey I've been having some trouble with my 2013 Fiat Bravo's blower and I'm a bit stumped. It's not working as it should and I suspect there could be an issue with the fresh air blower. Has anyone had a similar problem and can share their troubleshooting experience or how they got it resolved in the workshop? Cheers in advance for any tips you can give!

Hey there, I'm not a car expert, but I've had some experience with this kind of issue myself. I had it with my 2015 Fiat Punto. Very similar issue, the blower stopped working properly. Turned out to be a defective blower motor. I ended up taking it to my local workshop and they sorted it out for me. The repair cost me around 365 Euro, but it was certainly worth it to get that chill air back in! Could you give a bit more detail on the symptoms? Is it not working at all or just not blowing as strong as before? That might help me get a better idea of what's going on.

Hey. Thanks for the reply and sharing your experience. My Bravo, which has clocked up 153503 km, has a blower that works intermittently. Kinda strange that it’s not completely gone. Some days it'd work fine, and the next it's giving me a hard time. My last service was just a month ago, and they didn't notice a problem. So it seems to have cropped up recently. Thanks in advance for any further insights, and also for ballparking the repair costs, gives me an idea what I might be in for.

Hey again, That intermittent fault certainly is tricky. I had a few days when my Punto's blower acted similar before it conked out entirely. I guess it might indeed be a similar problem with your Bravo. Blower motors can be fickle creatures, sometimes they give you signs like intermittent working before they fail completely. It seems odd your last service didn't pick up on it, but then again, these sort of things can develop suddenly. As for the costs, they can vary a bit, depending on where you go, but that's roughly what I paid to get mine done. Might give you a ballpark figure to think about. I'd suggest getting it to a workshop soon, as a faulty blower, especially with winter approaching, is not something you want to leave unchecked. Hope this helps! Best of luck with the repair.

Hey, cheers for that! Yeah, the unpredictable behaviour does seem to hint at the motor, doesn't it? It's frustrating because you never know when it's gonna give you grief. But if it's the motor, better it goes on the blink now, before winter hits in full force, right? Last thing anyone needs is a car without any heating at below zero temps! And yeah, while the costs do vary, it's good to have a rough idea. Won't be such a shock when the final bill comes in! Thanks for all the help! I'm booking my car into the workshop tomorrow. Fingers crossed it'll all be sorted soon. Cheers, and all the best to you too!
