Hey! Your experience sounds eerily similar to mine - that 'Fault Stored' light is beyond annoying, isn't it? I'm glad your mechanic managed to get that sorted. By any chance do you remember roughly how much you ended up paying for the whole clear and reset process? It's a bit of a worry as I'm not really prepared for another costly fix right now. And another quick question, hope you don't mind - you've not had any other weird issues pop up with your Seat Alhambra since getting that fixed, have you? I'm hoping this will be a one-off thing for me with my Tarraco, but you never know with cars! Thanks again for your response, really appreciate the advice. Cheers!

Hey! Yeah, I feel your anxiety about big repair costs, especially when unexpected. If my memory serves me right, I forked out around 625€ for the whole fix. Steep, I know, but the component was pretty messed up. It's a chunk of change, but completely worth it in my book to sort that 'Fault Stored' nuisance. As for your second question, it's been pretty smooth sailing since that bit of drama. My Alhambra's been running like a dream, no weird glitches or anything. Seemed like resetting that pesky central fault memory lock did the trick. So, here's hoping it's a one-and-done situation for you too with your Tarraco. Cross my fingers for ya! And anytime, happy to help a fellow car enthusiast out. Keep me posted on how it goes! Cheers!

Hey, cheers for all the details! The cost does sound a bit steep but if it's a lasting solution to that 'Fault Stored' mess, I guess it'll be worth the expenditure in the long run. Glad to hear that your Alhambra's been behaving nicely since the fix. Gives me hope that my Tarraco will follow suit once this issue is sorted out. I'll surely drop you a line on how it all pans out. Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience and advice. You've really given me some much-needed peace of mind as I brave another potentially costly trip to the mechanic. Fingers crossed and hoping for the best! Cheers!

Hey there! I've got a 2015 Seat Alhambra, and I experienced something similar awhile back. My 'Fault Stored' light was on too. Turns out it was indeed due to a glitch in the active central fault memory lock. What my mechanic did, was essentially clear and reset the entire thing, making sure it was functioning as it should. They really had to get down to the nitty-gritty of the system, doing a sort of deep-clean. The long and short of it: it was a serious issue that needed immediate attention. Had a bit of a close shave there. So, I'd strongly recommend getting it checked out by a reliable mechanic as soon as you can. Hang in there!
