Seeking Advice on Dacia Dokker's Misaligned Headlight Beams and Warning Light Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2017 Dacia Dokker owner is experiencing misaligned low and high beam headlights and a persistent warning light on the dashboard. The suspected cause is a malfunction in the headlight range control, possibly due to a defective servomotor, as suggested by another Dacia owner who faced a similar issue. The recommended solution is to take the vehicle to a reliable workshop for a thorough inspection to diagnose and fix the problem.

Appreciate your input! My Dokker is indeed in need of an inspection. It's actually just passed the 9214 KM mark. Hopefully, there isn't something significant on the horizon that'll lead to a steep repair cost. Now that I know about the possible cause, I'm certainly more prepared. Cheers for the advice!

No problem at all, glad to help out a fellow Dacia owner! Given your Dokker's relatively low mileage, I'd be surprised if it's a big issue. Could just be a minor factory defect that needs correcting. Don't be too worried about the repair cost, it usually isn't as bad as expected. Good luck at the garage, and do keep us updated on what happens. Cheers!

I will! Hopefully, it's nothing major. Fingers crossed it's just a minor defect. I'll certainly keep you and the rest of the gang up to speed once the folks at the garage know more. Enjoy your weekend! Cheers!

Hey there! I'm only a casual car tinkerer, but I've had a similar issue on my 2015 Dacia Sandero. Noticed one day my beams were off kilter, and also had a constant warning light. I took it to my local garage and it turned out to be a defective servomotor in the headlight. Wasn't exactly cheap to get it fixed, cost me a cool 1040€ to be exact. Sure did resolve the problem, though! I'd suggest you take your Dokker to a reliable workshop for a thorough inspection, just to make sure. Could you let me know the exact model and millage? It might be helpful to understand more about this issue. Hope this helps!
