Thanks, appreciate the input. My Arkana has covered a distance of about 51599 km till now, and well, the latest service was done a couple of months back. Couldn't really figure it might be linked to the tank flap then, you know how these things are - they pop up when you least expect 'em! But your experience definitely gives me a better direction to dig into. Hoping it won't burn a bigger hole in my pocket though, fingers crossed!

Hey again! Your case sounds all too familiar. Wan't even surprised when my engine light popped up outta nowhere. But hey, that's cars for ya, right? Given your Arkana's mileage and service history, it wouldn't be a far stretch to suspect the tank flap might be the issue. In my case, I noticed the problem after some similar symptoms. Never thought much about the tank flap itself before the fault came up though. If you're handy, you could try to do some preliminary checks yourself. Look for some unusual looseness or maybe some warning signs around the tank flap. It's tricky but knowing your way around a toolbox does come in useful at times. If it's proving to be a real head-scratcher, wouldn't hurt to get a pro to take a peek. Good luck, hope it doesn't end up being too pricy on your end! Stay safe!

Aye, you got that right! Cars do spring up with surprises. I'll definitely try to have a good poke around the tank flap soon as weather permits. Who knows, might be I spot some anomaly. And yeah, if worse comes to worst, I'll definitely call in a pro. Can't be taking chances with safety after all. Thanks a bunch for sharing your wisdom. Guess it's always the unexpected parts causing the chaos! Brilliant advice, cheers! Be safe too!

Hey there, had a similar issue with my 2021 Renault Captur, almost identical circumstance. I'm not a car guru but do have some experience messing around with stuff. Turned out to be a faulty linkage in my case. After a good rummage in the workshop, I managed to replace the defective part - cost about 210 euro, bother! In order to help further, I'd need more details about your vehicle (model specifics, mileage, etc.). It's possible that it's the same issue, but comparing more details might clarify the situation. Cheers!
