Seeking Assistance for Kia Carnival Starting Issues, High Fuel Consumption, Warning Light, and Flickering Lights

Hey, had a similar issue with my 2004 Kia Sorento not too long ago. Car wouldn't start, warning lights all over, the works. Almost drove me completely batty. Turns out it was a weak battery giving me grief. Having issues with the engine start-stop and other symptoms like flickering lights, high fuel consumption, these signs definitely pointed to a battery issue. In my case, found out the battery couldn't hold a charge. Took it down to the local garage. Besides the battery replacement itself, the lads gave the whole electrical system a good once-over, turned out the alternator belt needed to be tightened a bit too. All got sorted by the end of the day, ran like a dream afterwards. So, bad battery, not exactly a catastrophe, but still a serious issue, right?
