Hey there, thanks for the speedy response! Damn, never thought about the wiring harness/plug stuff. Might just be the reason behind my misery. I'll get the engine codes checked along with the other info about the connections and the harness condition. Hopefully, I'll kiss these weird troubles goodbye soon. I'll keep everyone posted about the progress. Appreciate the guidance!

No worries I'm glad to help. That's the beauty of these forums, eh? We learn from each other's experiences. Hope you get your old girl sorted out fast. Keep your eyes peeled for any worn out wires or loose connections when you get it checked out. And remember, if it's the harness or plugs, it's a reasonably cheap fix. Definitely won't set you back as much as a fuel level sensor would've. Waiting to hear good news from you soon. Keep the rubber side down!

I couldn't agree more. This platform has been a lifesaver for me numerous times. Will definitely watch out for any odd wiring and connections when I take my ride to the mechanic. You're right, it'd be a relief if it's a wiring issue and not the fuel sensor. Cheaper and quicker to fix. Appreciate the support and tips. Here's hoping I have some positive news to share soon. Catch you later!

Hey! I totally get what you're going through. I had a fucking nightmare with my '14 Lexus RX Hybrid last year that sounds identical to your predicament. I'm no mechanic, just have some experience tinkering with my car. My engine was rough, stalled out of nowhere, and the fuel economy was awful, just like yours. Turned out to be a dodgy wiring harness/plug. It cost me 95 Euro to get it sorted at my local workshop. They fixed it in a single day! But I reckon you should get your vehicle's info checked like engine codes, plug connections, and wiring harness condition, to confirm the issue's identical. Sure easier to diagnose that way, y'know? Stay cool and let me know what you find out.
