Hey there, thanks for reaching out. Just crossed the 6138 KM mark with no recent modifications. My car had its last service before the lockdown. Could it be related to a software issue, considering what happened with your Optima? Do let me know your thoughts. Thanks again!

Heya cheers for the extra info! Given your low mileage, it's indeed looking more like a software glitch or a hardware issue with the infotainment system. If it was a speakerphone microphone issue, you'd probably still have a working navigation and audio system. It's a trip, but I had to learn it the hard way with my Optima. Have you tried resetting the system or checking for a firmware update recently? It might just need a system reboot to clear out any glitches. If none of that works, I'm afraid you might have to take it to your mechanic for diagnostics just like I did. It's a bit of a nuisance, I know. I hope this helps. Let us know how it goes!

Hey, you're a lifesaver! I did try resetting the system, no dice. Haven't checked for a firmware update in ages though, so fingers crossed that’s the issue. If not, looks like the mechanic's my next stop. Bit of a bummer, but at least it’s a start. Really appreciate your pointers, will let you know how it unfolds. Cheers again!

Hey, got your concern. Had something like that with my 2017 Kia Optima a while back. I've got some experience dealing with cars, no pro but not a complete novice either. Turns out my infotainment system was defective, just like yours. Ended up at my local mechanic's workshop, they ran a system diagnostic. Eventually, had to shell out about 815€ to get it all squared away. Would you mind telling me more about your car's mileage, recent modifications, if any? That might help me to guide you better. Keep us posted!
