Seicento Audio and Navigation Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2001 Fiat Seicento is experiencing a failure in its audio system and navigation, with diagnostic scans indicating a MOST bus fault. This issue could potentially be caused by a faulty control unit. Checking the fuses is suggested as an initial step, but if they are intact, professional diagnostics and repair might be necessary, possibly involving the replacement of the control unit.

Thanks. Any idea which fuses I should check first? The fuse diagram isn't very clear.

Honestly, I can't recall exactly which ones now. It was a while back. But if the fuses are all good, you're probably looking at a deeper dive. Could be a dodgy control unit like you suspect. I'd suggest getting it checked out by a workshop with the right diagnostics.

Thanks. Based on your experience and the system's complexity, I'm going to a professional. A local workshop quoted 1000€ for the repair, which seems right for replacing a faulty control unit.

Hey, I had something similar happen with my Seicento. No tunes, nav dead, the whole shebang. Have you checked the fuses? Stupid question, I know, but worth a shot before you start tearing things apart.
