Seicento Overvoltage Errors
Summary of the thread
A 2001 Fiat Seicento was experiencing overvoltage errors and multiple fault codes, leading to system failures and a weak battery during startup. The issue was suspected to be related to the voltage regulator, which is typically attached to the alternator. However, after consulting a mechanic, it was determined that the problem was due to a heavily discharged battery, which was replaced to resolve the issue.

Voltage regulator, eh? Where exactly is that located, and is it easy to test? I'm not super mechanically inclined, so how difficult is it?

Yeah, the voltage regulator. It's usually attached to the alternator. Honestly, if you're not comfortable with electrics, messing with it could make things worse. Given all those symptoms, it might be worth getting it checked by a workshop. Could save you some headaches.

Thanks. I took your advice and went to a local mechanic. Turns out the battery was heavily discharged and causing the overvoltage issue. New battery, and all is good. Cost me 290€ in the end.

Hey, sounds familiar! I had something similar happen in my Seicento. Overvoltage... could be a few things. Have you checked the voltage regulator? It might be throwing a wobbly.
