Seicento Transport Mode Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2005 Fiat Seicento displayed a 'transport mode' message on the dashboard, causing the navigation system to malfunction. The issue was likely due to the dealer forgetting to disable transport mode, a common oversight in new cars. The suggested solution was to take the car to the dealer for a computer reset, which successfully resolved the problem at no cost.

No, everything is stock. So, what exactly did you do to fix it? Was it a simple fix or something more involved?

Okay, since you said the car is new it's most likely the dealer forgot to disable transport mode. The only thing I can suggest is taking it to the dealer. It needs a computer reset. The issue on my Renault was similar and needed a mechanic to fix it. They reset something with their computer.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to the dealer, and you were right. They just had to disable the transport mode with their computer. Everything is working fine now. Zero cost!

That's a strange one! I had a similar problem with my old Renault Megane. It turned out to be a glitch in the car's computer system. Do you have any aftermarket electronics installed, like an aftermarket radio or alarm?
