Sentra turn signal malfunction
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Nissan Sentra experienced a malfunction with the driver's side turn signal, accompanied by an error message on the speedometer. The bulb was checked and found to be fine, suggesting other potential causes such as a faulty relay or wiring issue. After further investigation, it was determined that the problem was due to a bad connection, which was resolved by replacing the connector at a workshop. The repair successfully restored the turn signal's functionality.

Thanks for the quick reply! I haven't noticed anything weird with the clicking, but I'll pay closer attention next time I drive. If it's not the relay or the bulb, what else could it be? I'm not super handy with cars, so I'm a bit lost.

Okay, if the relay seems normal, it could be a wiring issue. Given that you're getting an error message, there might be a problem with the connection to the turn signal lamp itself. Honestly, electrical faults can be tricky to diagnose without the right tools. It's likely a defective cable or plug connection. Based on my experience, a workshop visit is the best move here. I had a similar issue on my old car, and it turned out to be a corroded connector. Cost me around 100€ to fix, so prepare for a similar bill.

Appreciate the advice! I took it to the shop, and you were right - it was a bad connection. They replaced the connector, and the turn signal is working perfectly again. The final bill was 95.0€, which is close to what you predicted. Thanks again for your help!

That's odd. A faulty bulb was my first thought, but you've already checked that. Is the flasher relay clicking unusually fast when you signal to the left? Or does the indicator light on the dash stay solid instead of flashing? Sometimes a bad relay can cause these kinds of issues, even if the bulb is okay.
