Sequoia Gear Display Failure

I'm encountering an issue with my 2023 Toyota Sequoia Hybrid. I'm getting an error stored in the error memory, the gear selection display in the speedometer is non-functional, cruise control is inoperative, and the engine refuses to start. After some diagnostics, I suspect a faulty clutch pedal switch or its associated wiring. Mileage is at 102210 km. Has anyone experienced similar issues, and if so, were cable or plug connection issues the culprit?

I had something similar with my Sequoia. Check the safety switch. It might be the issue.

Could you elaborate on the safety switch issue? Was it throwing similar symptoms, and how did you pinpoint it?

Yeah, same symptoms. Gear display, cruise control, starting issues. I'd advise getting it checked out at a workshop to confirm though.

Thanks for the input. It turned out to be a defective clutch pedal switch; the wiring was indeed the problem. Replaced it, and all systems are nominal. Total cost: 95€.
