Sequoia Hybrid Stalling Issue

My 2023 Toyota Sequoia hybrid is acting up. 144996 km, check engine light is on, and it stalls at red lights. My friend's OBD2 reader says it's a fuel level sensor fault. Is there a fuse I can check before going to a workshop?

A fuel level sensor fault can cause those symptoms. The check engine light comes on because of the error, and stalling could happen if the engine management system gets bad fuel level data. A fuse is possible, but less likely on newer cars. Check your owner's manual for the fuse layout. If the fuse is good, it needs more investigation.

I checked the manual, but I'm not sure which fuse is for the fuel level sensor, or if there even IS one. Could it be something else? Maybe the fuel pump is bad?

It could be something else, like the sensor, the wiring, or the fuel pump. But since the error code is for the fuel level sensor, I wouldn't replace the fuel pump right away. Hybrid fuel systems can be complex, so I'd recommend a workshop for diagnosis and repair.

Thanks! It WAS just a fuse, can you believe it? Cost me 52€ at the shop. I feel dumb for not figuring it out, but I'm so glad it wasn't a big deal!
