Siena Cylinder Pressure Fluctuation
Summary of the thread
A 2016 Fiat Siena with 217,805 km is experiencing cylinder pressure fluctuation, leading to increased fuel consumption and reduced engine power, along with an illuminated check engine light. Thanks for the tip! Fuel injectors... That's something I haven't considered yet. Were the symptoms exactly the same with your Peugeot? And did the check engine light come on?

Yes, the check engine light illuminated, and the symptoms were quite similar. Given the potential complexity, I would advise seeking professional diagnosis. It could be a consequential error from another error. Best to get it checked properly.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a mechanic, and you were right – it was a fuel injector issue that was causing the misfire. Apparently, the repair was covered by a recall I didn't even know about, so it cost me 0€! Thanks again!

Cylinder pressure fluctuation on a diesel can be tricky. I had a similar issue with my old Peugeot. Have you checked the fuel injectors? A faulty injector can cause uneven cylinder pressure and trigger those symptoms.
