Skoda Citigo ABS and Traction Control Issues

Thanks for the quick reply! The odometer seems okay, but I'll double-check it tomorrow. When you say 'error codes,' do you mean like with one of those OBD readers? And was it definitely the ABS control unit in your case? What kind of costs are we talking about, roughly?

Yep, OBD reader is what I meant. It pointed straight to a fault in the ABS control unit. Given your mileage and the symptoms, it does sound similar. As for costs, that's the tricky part. It could be a sensor, but if it's the whole unit, you're looking at a fair bit. Honestly, best bet is to get it properly diagnosed at a garage. They can pinpoint the exact issue. At least then you'll know for sure before throwing money at it.

Okay, just wanted to let you know. Took it to the garage, and you were spot on. They checked the ABS unit and confirmed it was faulty. Cost me around 1000€ to get it sorted, including the new unit and labor. Everything's working fine now, no more lights on the dashboard and the odometer is working properly. Thanks a lot for your help!

Hey, I had something similar happen with my Skoda a while back, though it's not a Citigo. The ABS light kept coming on, and the traction control was going haywire. Did you notice if your odometer was acting up too? Mine was showing weird numbers before I figured out what was going on. Have you had the car scanned for error codes? That's usually the first step.
