Summary of the thread
The 2020 Skoda Citigo electric vehicle experienced an issue with its anti-theft alarm system, which was not functioning and stored an error in the memory. The problem was identified as a coding issue where the system was incorrectly set to activate optical locking (indicators). The solution involved recoding the system at a workshop, which resolved the issue.

By checking the alarm sensor I mean a diagnostic scan. It sounds like alarm system coding. Is it possible the alarm is configured in a way that conflicts with another module? I'd suggest getting it checked at a workshop. It’s better to be safe than sorry with anti-theft stuff, right?

Hmm, interesting. What exactly do you mean by checking the alarm sensor? And where would I even find it? Also, the immobilizer light seems normal, no unusual flashing there. Could it still be related to the alarm system coding even without the light acting up?

Took the Citigo to a local mechanic and they found the anti-theft system was coded to activate the optical locking (indicators) even though it shouldn't have been. They recoded it and everything seems to be working fine now. Cost me 45€. Thanks for the help!

Strange one! I had something similar with my Citigo. The alarm would randomly go off in the middle of the night. Really annoying. Did you check the alarm sensor? Is the immobilizer light flashing when it shouldn't?
