Thank you for your reply. I have checked the fuses, and they are fine. Can you describe in more detail where exactly I should check the wiring harness? And did you have an error code stored in the error memory as well?

Yes, there was an error code stored in the error memory too. The wiring harness is located between the car body and the door, inside the rubber boot. Carefully pull back the boot and inspect the wires for any breaks or damage. However, if you are not comfortable doing this yourself, I would recommend taking it to a workshop. It could save you a lot of time and potential further problems. It is important to have a functional rearview mirror.

Thank you for the information. I took it to the workshop, and indeed, the cable to the heater element in the rearview mirror was defective. They replaced it, and the mirror heating is working again. The repair cost was 95€.

I had a similar problem with my Citigo's rearview mirror heating. It also stopped working. Did you check the fuses? Sometimes it's a simple blown fuse. Also, check the wiring harness where it enters the door, as it's a common spot for wires to break due to constant opening and closing of the door. It's really annoying in cold weather when you need the rearview mirror to be defrosted.
