Skoda Citigo Sunroof Issue After Coding
Summary of the thread
The 2014 Skoda Citigo experienced a sunroof issue where the sunblind was stuck, and the convertible top was unresponsive. This problem arose after recent coding changes to the car. The suspected cause was a 'sunroof not initialized' error. The solution involved taking the car to a workshop where the sunroof system's parameters were reset using diagnostic equipment, resolving the issue.

Yes, I adjusted the car's coding a week ago, I did not think that could affect the sunroof. What was the problem on your car and how did you fix it?

It sounds like the same problem. My sunblind was stuck, and the convertible top was unresponsive. In my case, it was caused by coding. I didn't have the tools for a sunroof reset, so I took it to a workshop with diagnostic equipment. They recalibrated the sunroof system, and it's been fine since.

Took the Citigo to a workshop and they reset the sunroof system's parameters using VCDS. The coding was the cause. It cost 75€, but the sunroof is working again. Thanks for the advice.

I recall a similar issue with my Citigo's sunroof. Was any coding done on the car recently? The sunroof system is sensitive to changes in the control module parameters. Have you scanned the car for fault codes?
