Skoda Citigo Turn Signal Issue

I'm cheesed off. My 2014 Skoda Citigo with a gasoline engine is throwing a hissy fit with the turn signal. Error's stored in the error memory, error message glaring at me from the speedometer, and the lighting is all wonky. Mileage is at 215522 km. Suspect it's a dodgy cable or plug connection. Anyone else had this?

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my Citigo. Have you checked the flasher relay? Sometimes a faulty relay can throw up weird errors in the automotive lighting system. Also, did you do a bulb replacement recently? Maybe the bulb is not fully seated in the socket.

Flasher relay, eh? Whereabouts is that located? And the bulb seemed fine, but I'll double check it isn't loose. Could a loose bulb really cause all this electrical fault madness?

Yeah, a loose bulb or bad connection can cause havoc. The Citigo's electricals are sensitive. I'm no expert, but my issue ended up being a corroded connector on the turn signal assembly. The dealer sorted it quick. Might be worth getting it checked at a workshop; could save you some head scratching.

Problem solved, it was indeed a dodgy connector on the turn signal. 95€ lighter but at least the light show on the dash is gone.
