Skoda Fabia Air Suspension Problems

Alright, I'm officially pulling my hair out! My 2015 Skoda Fabia with a gasoline engine is giving me grief. It has about 108772 km on it. The air suspension seems totally shot. I can't lift the car anymore, it's leaning to one side, and the ride is super bumpy. Plus, I'm getting an error message on the speedometer. The error memory also has an error stored. Any ideas what could be causing this suspension issue?

Summary of the thread

The 2015 Skoda Fabia is experiencing air suspension problems, including an inability to lift the car, leaning to one side, and a bumpy ride, accompanied by an error message on the speedometer. The issue is likely caused by an air leak in the system, particularly at the air suspension bellows valve. The suggested solution is to listen for hissing sounds around the air springs to confirm the leak and have a professional repair the faulty valve, which successfully resolved the problem.

Whoa, sounds rough! I had a similar suspension issue with my old Audi A6. The air suspension gave me fits. Is the car sitting noticeably lower on one side? It could be an air leak in the system. Have you checked for any hissing sounds around the air springs?

Yeah, it is leaning to one side! Hissing, you say? Where exactly should I be listening for that? What do you mean with air springs?

Okay, so the air springs, or airbags, are like inflatable cylinders that replace traditional springs in your suspension. If you hear hissing near them, especially when the car is trying to level itself, it probably means you have an air leak, most likely at the bellows valve. If you have an error stored it points to suspension failure. Honestly, it might be best to get it checked by a professional. Messing with air suspension can be tricky.

Big thanks for the input! I bit the bullet and took it to the shop. Turns out it was the air suspension bellows valve, just like you suspected. Cost me around 590€ to get it fixed. Now she's riding smooth again!
