Skoda Fabia Auxiliary Heater Problem

The error code does mention something about the glow plug circuit. Coolant level seems fine at first glance, but I'll double-check it more thoroughly. How exactly would a coolant leak affect the auxiliary heater? And how would I check the heater core?

A low coolant level, perhaps from a small leak, could trigger a safety mechanism preventing the auxiliary heater from firing up to avoid damage. As for the heater core it's difficult to check yourself. Given the glow plug error and now that you've checked the coolant, it's probably best to have a workshop take a look.

The workshop confirmed the glow plug was defective. Replacement and diagnostics cost 440€. Hopefully, that's the end of it.

Auxiliary heater issues can be tricky. Does the error code point specifically to the glow plug? Have you checked the coolant level? A coolant leak could also affect heat control and prevent the auxiliary heater from activating to prevent overheating. What about the heater core?
