Skoda Fabia climate control issues
Summary of the thread
A Skoda Fabia owner experienced multiple climate control issues, including a fog sensor error, non-functional air conditioning, frozen spray nozzles, and dead mirror heating. These problems were suspected to be related to a defective cable or plug. After consulting a workshop, it was confirmed that a faulty cable connection to the fog sensor was the cause, and fixing it resolved all the issues.

The humidity sensor itself? Where exactly is that located, and how would I check it? I'm not super tech-savvy, but I'm willing to give it a shot before taking it to a mechanic.

Yes, that's exactly what happened to me. I wouldn't mess with the sensor itself if you're not comfortable. It's a fiddly job. Just take it to a workshop, mention the cable connection to the fog sensor. It's likely the culprit, and they should be able to sort it out quickly.

Thanks for the help! The workshop confirmed it was a faulty cable connection to the fog sensor. 95€ later, climate control is back, no more frozen nozzles, and the mirrors are heating again. Huge relief!

Whoa, sounds like a proper electrical gremlin! I had a similar issue with my Fabia, although the symptoms were slightly different. Did you check the humidity sensor itself? It's often linked to the climate control and mirror heating. It's like a central command for all those functions.
