Skoda Fabia Climate Control Problem

My 2012 Skoda Fabia diesel has a climate control issue. The panel's dead, heating output is low, and AC doesn't kick in. Mileage is 145962 km. Error stored, so diagnostics point to a defective cable or plug connection.

Sounds familiar! I had a similar issue with my Fabia. Check the blower motor power supply. Is the HVAC system displaying any fault codes?

Blower motor power supply, got it. Where exactly is that located? The error memory has electronic faults stored, something about a defective component.

Yeah, the 'defective component' sounds right. Mine ended up being a corroded connector. Honestly, I'd say get a workshop to check the wiring harness before you start tearing things apart. Could save you a lot of time.

Cheers for the help. Turned out to be a defective connector in the wiring harness to the climate control panel. 95€ later and it's sorted.
