Skoda Fabia Diesel Engine Trouble

Interesting, so the car sensors might be the culprit, and not necessarily the injector itself? When you say "compensation adjustment values", are you talking about the "reset procedure" for the quantity drift compensation? Is there a way to perform this compensation adjustment using VCDS or similar diagnostic tools?

Yes, I meant the reset procedure. I tried fiddling with it myself using a diagnostic tool, but no luck. It kept throwing errors. To be honest, I'm not very experienced. I ended up taking it to a workshop, and they confirmed it was indeed a faulty injector. They replaced it, performed the compensation adjustment, and the problem was solved. So, it could be worth getting it checked professionally, even if it hurts the wallet.

Took the Fabia to a workshop, and you were spot on. They confirmed a faulty injector. Had all four replaced and the drift compensation reset. Cost me 515€, but the engine is running smoothly again. Thanks for the help!

Rough running and a check engine light, eh? Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my Skoda Octavia a while back, same diesel engine as yours. Did you check the car sensors? Could be a faulty sensor messing with the fuel injection. Have you tried looking into the compensation adjustment values? Is it even possible to check these values on your car model?
