Skoda Fabia Engine Misfire Troubles

I'm about ready to torch my 2011 Skoda Fabia with its gasoline engine! It's throwing a total tantrum. Engine misfiring like crazy, check engine light's on, feels like it's gonna shake itself apart at idle, and jerks like a bucking bronco when I try to accelerate. Pretty sure it's losing power too. Diagnostic says combustion misfire... Think it might be the injection valve or something. Anyone else had this kind of nightmare?

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my Fabia. Rough idle, check engine light, the whole shebang. Was the engine misfiring detected on all cylinders or just one?

Yeah, that's exactly what's happening! The check engine light is driving me nuts. How did you figure out it was the fuel injector? And how much did it set you back?

Mine was cylinder number 3 that was causing the combustion misfire. I didn't do much troubleshooting myself as I don't have the tools for it. I took it to a workshop, and they quickly diagnosed a faulty fuel injector. I recommend you do the same.

Thanks! I dropped it off at the shop, and you were spot on. It was a dodgy fuel injector. Cost me 515€ to get it sorted, but at least it's running smoothly again. I appreciate the help!
