Interesting. You mentioned checking the transmission fluid level on your Volvo. Is that something I can easily do myself on the Skoda Fabia, or does it require special tools or a trip to a mechanic?

On my Volvo, checking the fluid was a bit of a pain, needed a special dipstick. Given the symptoms and the error code you're seeing, plus the fact that you suspect low oil, I'd say it's worth getting it checked professionally. Could be a leak somewhere. Better safe than sorry with automatic transmissions!

Took the Fabia to a workshop. They confirmed the transmission oil level was low, likely affecting the transmission oil sensor readings. They topped it off, replaced the faulty oil sensor, and cleared the error codes. Total cost came to 365€. Gearbox is now shifting smoothly, and no warning lights are present. Thanks for the advice!

Sounds familiar! I had similar transmission issues with my older Volvo. The automatic transmission would act up, and it turned out to be a faulty temperature sensor. Have you checked the basics like the transmission fluid level?
