Thanks for the advice. Where is the fluid level sensor located? And how do I check the spray jets for blockages? I've tried a needle without much success.

The fluid level sensor is usually at the bottom of the reservoir. If a needle doesn't clear the jets, try compressed air. However, if the sensor is faulty, the light will stay on regardless. Given the car's age and the error code, the sensor is likely the issue. Replacing it might be worthwhile. If that doesn't work, a workshop might be needed to check the wiring.

The fluid level sensor was indeed the problem. A replacement fixed the issue, costing 25€, and the washer system is working again. Thanks for the help.

I had a similar problem with my Renault Megane. The light stayed on despite a full reservoir. I'd check the fluid level sensor first, as they can get clogged or fail. Also, check the spray jets for blockages, as reduced flow can trigger the sensor.
