Skoda Fabia wiper issue

Thanks for the quick reply! The cruise control seems to be working normally, and the rain sensor also seems unaffected. Could you tell me more specifically where to look in the wiring harness? Are there any particular plugs or areas that are known to be problematic?

Okay, since the cruise control and rain sensor are behaving normally, it further points to the wiper circuit itself. I'd still recommend having a workshop take a look; fiddling with the steering column wiring can be tricky and potentially disable other systems. Based on my experience and your symptoms, I believe the 95€ estimate is very realistic for this repair.

Thank you for your helpful insights. I took it to a local workshop, and it turned out to be a defective wiring harness connection related to the steering column, just as suspected. They replaced the connector and did some work on the wiring, and the wipers are now functioning perfectly. The total cost was 95€, so right on the money. I really appreciate your help with this problem!

I had a similar issue with my Fabia. Check the wiring harness around the steering column. Is your cruise control working fine, or is that acting up too? Sometimes the rain sensor can also be a culprit, but given the error code, the wiring is more likely the issue.
