Skoda Kamiq Blower Issue
Summary of the thread
The fresh air blower in a 2023 Skoda Kamiq was not functioning, and an error was recorded in the error memory, leading to the suspicion of a defective blower motor. Initial checks of the fuses showed no issues, reinforcing the likelihood of a blower motor problem. A workshop visit confirmed the blower motor was indeed defective, and after replacement, the climate control system resumed normal operation.

Thanks for the quick response. I did check the fuses, and they seem to be fine. The error memory also stores an error related to the blower motor. Could it still be something else?

Okay, if you've checked the fuses and there's an error code pointing to the blower motor, it's very likely the culprit. In my case, the motor was completely shot. I'd recommend taking it to a workshop to get it properly diagnosed and replaced. It's not a terribly complicated job, but requires some specialist tools.

I visited my local workshop, and they confirmed the blower motor was defective. After replacing it, the climate control system works as expected again. The repair set me back 365€.

Sounds familiar I had a similar issue with my Kamiq a while back. The climate control was completely dead no air flow at all. Did you check the fuses It might be a simple fix before you start suspecting the blower motor itself.
