Thanks for the quick response! When you had the issue, did the car completely refuse to start sometimes? And did you notice any difference in car performance or higher fuel consumption before the engine stalling started?

Yes, the car occasionally refused to start. I did notice reduced car performance and a marginal increase in fuel consumption before the engine finally stalled completely. Given your symptoms and mileage, a visit to the workshop might be beneficial for a thorough automotive diagnosis of the fuel system. A car mechanic will be able to accurately pinpoint the problem.

Big thanks for your input! Turns out, you were spot on about the connections. The car mechanics at the workshop checked the fuel pump and the wiring. Found a loose plug connection, just like you thought. They fixed it, and the Kamiq runs like new again. Total cost 95€ – a lot better than a new fuel pump! Appreciate the help!

I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue. I own a Skoda Kamiq as well. I experienced similar symptoms, such as engine stalling and the check engine light illuminating. Has the error memory been read? It could be something as simple as a defective sensor.
