Skoda Kamiq transmission issue

Whoa, that sounds rough! I had something similar happen with my Renault Megane, although it wasn't exactly the same. The transmission was acting up, and the check engine light was on. Did you check for any coolant leak? Sometimes a small leak can cause pressure issues. Could it be related to the pressure sensor on the radiator? Have you noticed any car overheating?

A coolant leak… that's interesting. I haven't specifically looked for that. Where exactly should I be looking for this leak, and how would I check the pressure sensor?

Okay, so with my Megane, the coolant leak was tiny, almost unnoticeable. I found it near the radiator hoses. As for the pressure sensor, I'm no expert, but if you suspect that, it might be best to get it checked professionally. I ended up taking my car to a workshop, and they did a leak detection test and confirmed it was a faulty sensor. Best to avoid potential further damage, right?

It was indeed a defective cable and plug connection to the pressure sensor, as suspected. Repair cost me 95€ Thanks for your help!
