Skoda Karoq Bumpy Ride Damping Error

I'm at my wit's end with this Skoda Karoq of mine! It's a 2019 model with a gasoline engine. Recently, the ride's gone completely haywire – bumpy as all get-out. The error memory's throwing up a 'damping adjustment fault', and of course, the obligatory warning light's blazing on the speedometer. From what I've gathered, it's probably a defective cable or plug connection somewhere in the car damping system. Has anyone else wrestled with something similar? This vehicle suspension is driving me insane!

I also own a Karoq and had similar issues with the car handling. Not sure if it's exactly the same, but I had a warning light and a noticeably firmer ride. Have you checked the basic stuff like the plug connections to the suspension components? That was the culprit in my case. Might be worth a look before you dive into anything more complex.

Yep, the connections on the dampers themselves. I think it was something along the lines of 'damper control circuit malfunction' – so, pretty similar. To be honest, I just took it to a workshop and let them sort it. They mentioned the plug was a bit loose and corroded. I wouldn't mess with suspension tuning myself.

Well, finally got it sorted! You were spot on about the connection. Turns out it was a slightly corroded plug on the damper itself. Cleaned it up, and the error's gone. Cost me 95€ at the local garage, but honestly, after that bouncy ride, it was worth every penny. Thanks a bunch for your help!
